The New York Rural Water Association is very aware of the upcoming crisis relating to our water and wastewater certified operators quickly reaching retirement age, and the lack of qualified individuals to fill these important positions. We have developed a DVD that discusses these issues, along with some interesting interviews with several professionals across the state and their take on what is required to run a successful water and wastewater facility.
Although we have a limited supply of these DVDs, we would be happy to provide your municipality with one and we offer you an opportunity to have one of our Circuit Riders attend your Board Meeting and make a presentation to your elected officials.
