Systems with a previously approved VA/ERP that must meet the January 1, 2003 deadline can fulfill the state-mandated requirements by completing the Security Self-Assessment Guide for Systems Serving 3,301 to 10,000 (see list below to download), consulting with state and local law enforcement agencies, and updating applicable aspects of their ERP. NYRWA created an ERP template and a second VA template that addresses other non-terrorist related emergency situations to assist those systems needing to develop a completely new ERP and VA.
