Intended use plans for CWSRF and DWSRF now available

The Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2011 Intended Use Plans (IUPs) for the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) are now available at www.nysefc.org. The draft IUPs explain the CWSRF and DWSRF programs and list projects eligible for CWSRF and DWSRF financing between October 1, 2010 and September 30, 2011. The finalized CWSRF and DWSRF 2011 IUPs will be available in late September.

EFC and DOH will offer two opportunities for the public to learn about and ask questions about the draft IUPs.

Public Meeting and Hearing
A public meeting and hearing will be held to review the draft IUPs and receive any comments. It is scheduled for Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 10:00 am at the William K. Sanford Town Library, Stedman Room, 629 Albany Shaker Road, Loudonville, NY, 12211.

Pre-registration is not required for the draft IUP public meeting and hearing. Please contact EFC or DOH before the hearing if you wish to discuss specific details concerning your projects.

Webinar
A free webinar will be conducted on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 2:00 pm. The webinar will include a presentation on the draft 2011 IUPs and a question & answer section. Please visit www.nysefc.org/webcasts to sign up, or register directly at:

Written statements or comments on the draft IUPs can be filed at the hearing or at any time until the close of business on September 3, 2010. Written statements (or oral statements made at the public hearing) will be made part of the official record, and a Response to Comments will be included in the final IUPs. Written statements or comments on the draft IUPs should be filed with the following programs by close of business on September 3, 2010 as indicated below:
