ELAP Update

Category: General — New York Rural Water @ 8:15 AM
The NYRWA would like to thank everyone that has e-mailed ELAP Director Dr. Ostrowski expressing thier concerns over the settleable solids certification issue. We are working with NYWEA and NYCOM to arrange a meeting with the ELAP Director to discuss this directive and gain some clarification. To date, e-mails, phone calls and hard copy mailed letters from both NYRWA and NYWEA have not received a reply. We urge everyone that has not yet expressed your concerns to Dr. Ostrowski please do so as soon as possible and ask those that have not received a response on their initial contact to once again send another message.  The NYRWA will continue to keep you updated, when we receive more information.  If you have any questions, please contact Steve Grimm at (518) 929-0987 or Pat Scalera at (518) 828-3155. Thank you for your support.

  1. This appears to be just another of a hundred ways to squeeze
money from municipalities and taxpayers, through support of ELAP.

But federal and state government will still stand up to declare
what a great job they did with the deficit without raising any
    taxes.
