JACKSON, Miss. – The streets of Jackson will begin to drain Monday after days of heavy rain caused the Pearl River to crest just below the major flood stage.
Starting January 1, 2023, ELAP certification will be required for all labs performing acute and chronic WET testing. NYSDEC and NYSDOH have granted a one year grace period for labs to become certified for these tests. It is IMPORTANT that you get written confirmation that the lab you have chosen is either already ELAP certified for WET testing or has started the certification process.
