Certified Stormwater Inspector-Rural Communities (a two-day training offering both TCHs and certification)

Date: Wednesday-Thursday, October 2-3, 2019
Location: Health Trust Building, 25 Triangle Park Drive, Concord NH 03302
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm (Registration begins at 8:45 am)
Credit: 12 TCH’s will be awarded to those who attend 100% of the course.
NH DES wastewater credit approved.
Cost: $550 Members, $750 Non-members. Lunch included.
Instructors: Paul Davis (retired - Tennessee Water Pollution Control), Bob Gross (retired- South Carolina Water Pollution Control)

Agenda: Rural communities are encouraged to develop stormwater discharge controls and many construction and industrial activities are subject to mandatory permit compliance. This two-day course will help individuals understand the complexities of stormwater permitting and permit enforcement. Topics include:

  • Clean Water Act
  • Understanding CSI-Rural Communities
  • Voluntary RMS4 Controls
  • Municipal Pollution Prevention
  • Illicit Discharge Detection and Elimination
  • Public Participation
  • Construction Permit Review and Controls
  • Industrial Permit Review
  • Wastewater Sector Study
  • Land Field Sector Study

To attain the designation of Certified Stormwater Inspector from the National Stormwater Center, the attendee must score a 75% or above in the three separate areas of training (municipal, construction and industrial).

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel, please contact GSRWA in writing at least three business days prior to the day of the course, or be charged a $30 late cancellation fee. If you do not attend the course and do not contact GSRWA, you will be charged a “No Show” fee equal to the original course registration fee. The No Show fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Written request for refunds/credits will be considered for special circumstances provided that the request is received within two weeks of the training date.
